The Abs Company Gives Back

“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”

Augie's Quest

In 2005 Augie Nieto, the co-founder and former president of Life Fitness, received a diagnosis of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease). This progressive disease may have robbed him of the ability to use his body but certainly not his mind and spirit. The purpose of Augie’s Quest has always been to fund research and drug development aimed at ending ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. Since 2007, Augie’s Quest has raised nearly $40 million in support of finding effective ALS treatments- making it the largest individual fundraising program for ALS! Since 2010 The Ab Coaster Company has proudly donated over $30,000 to Augie’s Quest

Jessica’s Hope

Jessica’s Hope Project is a non-profit organization that focuses on sending fitness-oriented care packages overseas to all branches to the military in many different parts of the world. The average deployed military individual loses 50 pounds of body weight per deployment. The goal is to keep this from happening by providing protein bars, muscle milk and vitamin supplements to as many military individuals as possible to maintain their physical well being and mental sharpness. The Abs Company has been donating monthly to this organization since 2011 and has donated over $1250 to date.
