Ab Coaster CS1500

Great piece of equipment. This is exactly what I expected. It was easy to set up and functions properly. There was a misunderstanding with the packaging which caused a delay in shipment, but the sender was helpful and promptly responsive to emails upon questioning. This equipment is what I ordered and does what I want it to do.

Best Home Exercise Equipment Purchase I've Ever Made. Serious workout equipment here! I've showed it to friends who still can't grasp what it is or why it works. It's NOT an "aerobic rocking chair," which is what most people naively first assume. It's basically a supported Roman Chair, where instead of doing unsupported knee lifts while hanging vertically, which most people are too weak to do properly and without losing form (and which can therefore place your low back at severe risk), you do supported knee lifts driving the sled up the rails with your knees and then, in a controlled manner, easing it back down again. As other commenters have said, it is TOUGH work at first! But if you stick with it you'll be piling on the weights as well in no time at all. I do 8-12 sets of 24 to 32 w/50 lbs on the posts as part of a larger circuit training workout 3 or 4 times a week. But here's the beauty of this thing: if you've had non-structural low back issues in the past like I have, likely from doing sit-ups and other ill-advised abdominal exercises, this thing will fix that right up for you too! In fact, it's probably at least as beneficial for your low back as it is your abs, as you're repeatedly putting your low back through fully supported foward flexion while strengthening your abdominals.Tip: The rollers can get a bit noisy with frequent use. Buy a block of paraffin and rub it on the rails once a month or so and the ride and noise will smooth out considerably! I've been using one block for over two years now and it's nowhere near used up yet.
